Duke’s Adult Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplant Program treats patients with more than a dozen different conditions.

  5. Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)
  6. Chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML)

  8. Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma
  9. Breast cancer
  10. Brain tumors
  11. Germ cell tumor
  12. Multiple myeloma
  13. Aplastic anemia
  14. Immune deficiency disorders
  15. Sickle cell anemia and other red blood cell disorders
  16. Autoimmune disorders

The role of bone marrow transplant in the treatment of several other conditions is also being explored at Duke and other leading medical centers. These conditions include sickle cell anemia, immune deficiency disorders, and autoimmune diseases such as scleroderma and multiple sclerosis. Many of these treatments are currently available at Duke through clinical trials.
